Valentina performed, & recorded for CD, the première public performance (since the composer's death), of Salomon Jadassohn's 'Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1, op 89 in C minor', with The Karelia State Philharmonic Orchestra (Musical Director Marius Stravinsky) in Russia, in December 2008.

On 11th November (Remembrance Day) 2010, she appeared as Guest Soloist with the Orion Symphony Orchestra (Conductor: Toby Purser) at London’s Cadogan Hall for the first public performance in over 75 years of Dorothy Howell’s Piano Concerto in D minor.
